I charged the system with a few psi, and after fixing a couple of others I had to hunt for a leak somewhere near the brake master cylinder. After a few tries I took the dipstick out to clear up some room for my vacuum tube stethoscope and suddenly I couldn't hear the leak anymore. It turns out the hissing sound was coming from the dipstick seal, so the crankcase is obviously getting pressure. Could this be a stuck open PCV valve? Thoughts? The car had a major blueprint rebuild about 45k miles ago, so I don't think it's a cylinder leak (fingers are definitely crossed though).
